A practical safeguarding training course from Safeguarding Fundamentals, delivered through FACTS - Front & Centre Together Safeguarding, SGF's dedicated training and delivery division.

This course is for DSLs, school leaders and safeguarding professionals who want to feel more confident when concerns are raised, conversations are difficult, records matter and decisions may later be scrutinised.

From the first concern to the final record, we will help you build the confidence, language and structure needed to support children, protect staff and evidence defensible safeguarding practice.

What The Course Will Cover

Safeguarding conversations: how to listen, respond and record clearly.
Safeguarding investigations: what to do early, what to avoid and how to protect the integrity of the process.
Court-ready safeguarding records: how to write accurate, timely and useful records that reflect the child’s voice.
Demystifying court: what professionals need to understand about evidence, scrutiny and giving an account of their decision-making.
