A practical safeguarding training course from Safeguarding Fundamentals, delivered through FACTS - Front & Centre Together Safeguarding, SGF's dedicated training and delivery division.

This course is for DSLs, school leaders and safeguarding professionals who want to feel more confident when concerns are raised, conversations are difficult, records matter and decisions may later be scrutinised.

From the first concern to the final record, we will help you build the confidence, language and structure needed to support children, protect staff and evidence defensible safeguarding practice.

What The Course Will Cover

  • Safeguarding conversations: how to listen, respond and record clearly.
  • Safeguarding investigations: what to do early, what to avoid and how to protect the integrity of the process.
  • Court-ready safeguarding records: how to write accurate, timely and useful records that reflect the child’s voice.
  • Demystifying court: what professionals need to understand about evidence, scrutiny and giving an account of their decision-making.

Learning Outcomes

  1. Respond confidently to safeguarding concerns using a clear, structured and child-centred approach.
  2. Apply professional judgement to complex situations, making decisions that are robust and defensible.
  3. Produce accurate, timely safeguarding records that meet statutory expectations and withstand scrutiny.
  4. Use clear, consistent professional language when managing difficult conversations and multi-agency work.

It is designed for professionals who do difficult work, often under pressure, and need training that is clear, realistic and rooted in real safeguarding practice. We will be joined by CPOMS to help deliver this training.

Requisito 9- ¿Está registrado su club en la Comisión de Caridad?

Si es así, deberá cumplir tres requisitos adicionales. 

  1. Deben existir evaluaciones de riesgos para todas las personas con las que interactúe la organización benéfica, incluidos los centros en los que tenga su sede. 
  2. El personal debe estar protegido mediante políticas de denuncia de irregularidades, discriminación y acoso. 
  3. Vincular al administrador y la salvaguardia como punto permanente del orden del día del consejo. 
Debe cumplir los 8 requisitos antes de solicitar la marca de calidad SGF. Si aún no los tiene, póngase en contacto con Antonia y ella le ayudará a cumplirlos utilizando este formulario.
